Objectives of the International Classes program
  • The one-academic year French as a Foreign Language program is designed to assist students in attaining DELF B2 or DALF C1 proficiency by the end of the academic year
  • Facilitate the students’ integration into specialized fields at CY Tech = Applied Mathematics and Computer Engineering.
Course structure

A one-year specialized French language course in preparation for higher education in the field of Engineering studies.

  • ECTS: 60 ECTS / 30 US Credits
  • Number of teaching & supervised project hours:20 hours of classes per week for approximately 500 hours annually

Admission requirements

  • Undergraduate students with a strong interest in the French language and in Applied Maths and/or Computer Engineering
  • Age criteria: 18 +  by September 2024
  • Minimum attested proficiency level in French: A2. Complete beginners can progress up to A2 within the Alliances Françaises network in India before joining the program.


Requested documents:

  • Copy of identity card/passport
  • A one page resume
  • Your letter of interest (max. 2 pages). Your letter will help us to know about you, your interests, your values and goals.  You will explain what encourages you to study the International Classes program at CY Tech
  • Official copies of academic records for your last 3 years of studies
  • Last obtained diploma or certificate of achievement
  • If you have not yet graduated from your current degree you will need to ask your school for a transcript of records corresponding to the level of studies you have obtained. If admitted, you will have to provide us with the original documentation.
  • Proof of French language level: A2
How to apply

Candidates must submit their application at the latest on March 31st, 2024 for our September session. 
Shortlisted candidates will be notified after sending applications and will be accepted after the file evaluation. 
Selected candidates will be contacted for an interview. 
After being admitted candidates will receive an admission letter.

Tuition fees

The tuition fees for one academic year of the International Classes program amount to 5 500€.
