Introduction

In the contemporary world, humanity stands at a pivotal crossroads, facing an array of complex and interlinked challenges that are reshaping our planet and societies. In such a context, data analysis and economic theory are indispensable for preparing the transition.

First, in-depth studies that leverage data provide us with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving climate patterns, their regional disparities, and the severity of the challenges posed. Moreover, they help quantify the costs of inaction, the economic benefits of mitigation, and the potential for innovation in renewable energy and sustainable practices.

Moreover, societal changes, from shifting demographics to technological disruptions, are fundamentally altering the way we live and work. Urbanization, automation, and globalization are transforming industries, job markets, and social structures. These changes present both opportunities and challenges, such as income inequality, job displacement, and evolving healthcare needs.   Economic theory plays a vital role in understanding and preparing for these shifts. By analyzing data on employment trends, income distribution, and the impact of emerging technologies, we can design policies and strategies to harness the benefits of societal changes while mitigating adverse effects.

The urgent need to prepare for the near future cannot be overstated. It requires a proactive approach that combines scientific knowledge, data-driven insights, and economic foresight. This program proposes in-depth studies grounded in data and economic theory to offer a roadmap for transitioning to a more sustainable and resilient future.
